"The Wedding Dress is about the change of the traditional concept of marriage. The head is hidden because the bride is scared, ashamed and yet lustful. It plays on the traditional expectations of the 'white wedding' and virginity, the Asian red wedding (red for luck), and the sexual desires of women. It also wonders about the survival of marriage in contemporary society." --artist's description from image list
